Configuration
Subscribing to Lagoon
Subscribing to Lagoon will incur fees based on the selected Lagoon plan and any optional license packs. Refer to the Pricing & Fee Schedule for more information.
To begin using Lagoon, you must start a Lagoon subscription.
- Login to the User Console. From the Menu, open the SORACOM Lagoon screen.
Lagoon subscriptions cannot be managed by SAM users. Ensure that you have logged in as your Soracom root account (email address and password).

Click the Subscribe to SORACOM Lagoon button.

Select the Lagoon Plan that you want to use, then click the Continue button.
If you would like to test Lagoon, select the Free plan. You can upgrade to other plans later.
In order to access the Lagoon dashboards, you must create a user. Regardless of your Lagoon subscription plan, the default user will be configured as an Editor user, and your Soracom root account email address will be used as the Lagoon user email address for logging into Lagoon.

Enter a Password for the Lagoon user. Then click the Subscribe button.
Your Lagoon subscription will be activated immediately, and you can log into the Lagoon dashboard.
Logging into Lagoon

Login to the User Console. From the Menu, open the SORACOM Lagoon screen.

Click the SORACOM Lagoon console button.
You can also access the Lagoon console directly:

Login using your Lagoon user email address and password.

Once logged in, you will see the Lagoon Home Dashbaord.
Changing your Lagoon Subscription
You can change the Lagoon plan at any time in order to add more users or enable additional Lagoon features, such as controlling which users are able to view or edit specific dashboards, or customize the logo that appears in Lagoon.

Login to the User Console. From the Menu, open the SORACOM Lagoon screen.

Click the Change plan button.

Select the Lagoon Plan that you want to use, then click the Update button.
Your Lagoon subscription will be updated immediately.
When modifying your Lagoon subscription, the greater of the selected plans will be billed to your Soracom account. For example:
- If you are currently using the Maker plan and upgrade to the Pro plan, your account will be charged for the Pro plan for the current and subsequent months.
- If you are currently using the Maker plan and downgrade to the Free plan, your account will be charged for the Maker plan for the current month, and pricing for the Free plan will take effect the following month.
Unsubscribing from Lagoon
If you no longer wish to use Lagoon, you can unsubscribe from the service at any time.

Login to the User Console. From the Menu, open the SORACOM Lagoon screen.

Click the Change plan button.

Click the Unsubscribe button.
When unsubscribing from Lagoon, all Lagoon dashboards, users, and alerts will be deleted.
Click the Unsubscribe button again to confirm.
Your Lagoon subscription will be terminated immediately.
