Contact Information

When creating a Soracom account, you will be prompted to select whether create an Individual account or a Business account, and to provide contact information for the account. The contact information is used for billing purposes, such as calculating taxes and issuing invoices.

If you need to update your contact information, you can update it from the User Console.

Please note that an Individual account cannot be changed to a Business account, and vice-versa. If you originally created an Individual account and need to change to a Business account, please create a new account.

Updating Contact Information

  1. Login to the User Console. Click your account menu, then select Contact information.

    Please note that contact information can only be updated using the root account. Ensure that you login to your Soracom account using the root account email address and password. SAM users cannot change contact information.

  2. Update the contact information as needed.

For security, the company name of a business account cannot be changed. If your company name has changed, please contact us to request a company name change.

Adding Email Addresses

You can add multiple email addresses to your account in order to specify a recovery email address or to deliver notifications from Soracom to other email addresses in addition to your root account email address. Please refer the Email Settings documentation for more information.
