Email Notification Action

The Email Notification action sends an email to the specified email address.

You can send up to 100 emails per month per Soracom Account, or a maximum of 10 per hour.

Configuration

In the Condition section of a Flux action, you can specify the conditions under which the action will execute using the values (Message or Context) from the event source to the channel. For more details on the expressions you can input, please refer to Use Expressions in Actions.

Config

Configure the email notification action content:

  • Only the root user can set the email addresses for email recipients. SAM users cannot set this.
  • You can only select email addresses that have already been added to the operator. For more details on adding an email address to the operator, please refer to Adding an Email Address.

Output

Set up how the action's output data will be processed. Refer to Enable Republishing of Action Output for more details.

Output Data of the Action

When the email is added to the send queue by the Email Notification action, the response {"message":"OK"} is returned to confirm that the email has been added to the queue.

The response {"message":"OK"} does not confirm receipt of the email by the recipient.

All Flux apps can send up to 10 notifications per hour. If notifications exceed the limit, they will be discarded and not resent.
