Soracom Napter Errors

Soracom Napter stores error logs for the last 14 days that can be viewed from the User Console or API. These errors can be used for debugging when troubleshooting issues with your deployment.

The following error messages can be found in the error logs:

Error Message Explanation Troubleshooting
connection denied: the user doesn't have the right permission for access A user attempted to access the IP address and port assigned by Napter, but the connection was denied. When setting up on-demand remote access with Napter, be sure to specify the global IP address range of the devices that are allowed to initiate the connection in the IP address range(s) allowed access field. Only devices with a global IP address that matches this range will be able to access the assigned IP address and port provided by Napter.

Click the Log Details icon in the error logs to view the source IP address of the access request, shown in the srcAddress field.
connection refused: the user has attempted to access multiple time suspiciously Access to the IP address and port assigned by Napter was determined to be suspicious and the connection was denied. When setting up on-demand remote access with Napter, be sure to specify the global IP address range of the devices that are allowed to initiate the connection in the IP address range(s) allowed access field. If devices with IP addresses outside this specified range repeatedly attempt to access the IP address and port assigned by Napter, the activity may be flagged as suspicious and result in this error message.
