Soracom Orbit Errors

Soracom Orbit stores error logs for the last 14 days that can be viewed from the User Console or API. These errors can be used for debugging when troubleshooting issues with your deployment.

The following error messages can be found in the error logs:

Error Message Explanation Troubleshooting
WASM returned a negative result code(-1) This message is output when an issue occurs during the execution of Soracom Orbit. The cause may vary, but for example, it may be output when the data format sent from the device does not match the data format expected by the WASM module. If you're using a WASM module you created, please check both the data being received by the module and how the module is functioning.

To use tags or location as input to the WASM module, you must enable the Metadata Service and Simplified Location Tracking, respectively.

Logs output by WASM modules using functions described in the Soracom Orbit SDK Reference are not recorded in error logs.
