Create Flux Apps from Soracom Flux App Templates

This document explains how to quickly create Flux Apps using templates. Templates provide an easy way to get started with pre-configured settings and workflows, but you have complete freedom to edit, add, or remove components to suit your needs.

The number of Flux apps you can create is determined by the plan you are using.

To create a new Flux App using a Soracom Flux App Template:

  1. Login to the User Console. From the Menu, open the Soracom Flux App Templates screen.

  2. Click on the Soracom Flux app template you want to use.

  3. Review the template details, then click Create Flux App.

  4. Provide the necessary information to create the Flux App parameters. For example, you may have to specify the SIM ID to be managed or the destination email address for notifications for the template app.

  5. Click Create Flux App to generate a new app based on your selected template.

Edit a Flux App's Name and Description

You can edit the name and description of a Flux App using the following steps:

  1. Open the Studio tab of your Flux App.

  2. Click (Edit App name and description) to edit the name and description.

  3. Enter an updated Name and Description, then click Save.

You will be returned to the Studio tab of your Flux App, and the name and description will be updated.
